Ash and Dash

Taming the bully

Dash was a ferocious African bully, constantly picking on others smaller than him. Due to his occasional aggressiveness, he was moved to Wen Shan’s enclosure. There he found that he was now the newcomer and was isolated by the other snails. However, this trend was broken by a chestnut snail, Ash,who made an effort to get to know Dash better. At first, Dash, uncomfortable with someone of a different species was hostile towards Ash, but one day, after persistent trying on Ash’s behalf, Dash agreed to hang out with Ash. Ash helped overcome Dash’s fear of climbing. Pretty soon, both snails could be seen sleeping together on the underside of the enclosure cover, giving each other piggybacks on the wall of the tank, and even eating while climbing! These two soon became the best of friends. A while after, Ash and Dash were released back into the wild where we believe that they live happily ever after.
